Rihanna and Taylor Swift are the lead nominees for the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, that will be take place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 9pm, and will be broadcast on MTV channels around the world.

Rihanna rise up with nominations in 6 categories, while Taylor Swift is given the nod for 5 trophies, as Swift is in contention for the ‘Best Live’ and ‘Best World Stage’ awards. Justin Bieber and Katy Perry are nominated in 4 categories, whereas Lady GaGa, Lana Del Rey, Nicki Minaj and Carly Rae Jepsen each receive three nominations.
