Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj Confirmed for 2012 American Music Awards

Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, and the band Linkin Park are ready to perform on the stage as featured artists for the show for 2012 American Music Awards.
The 2012 American Music Awards was announced on Wednesday 25th October by the show organizers and Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, and the band Linkin Park acts are also up for nominations. Minaj is well known for her outrageous wigs and outlandish costumes, leads the pack with most nominations at the 2012 American Music Awards for the night, where she was tied up with American pop Rihanna.
Nicki Minaj and Rihanna have four nominations at 2012 American Music Awards, including Favorite Female Pop-Rock Artist. Taylor Swift is nominated for Favorite Female Country Artist, meanwhile Linkin Park for Alternative Rock Award.
The other nominees are Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Drake and Rihanna for Artist of the Year in 2012 American Music Awards. Gotye, J. Cole, Carly Rae Jepsen, One Direction, and Fun are eyeing to grab the New Artist of the Year trophy.
The American Music Awards will be 40th edition and it is going to start on 18th November at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) on ABC.
