Bret Michaels, 47-year-old is recovering from his heart surgery. Bret Michaels was suffering from blood pressure. The doctor said that the singer is recovering and doing better.

Dr. Mansour Assar, an interventional cardiologist, said that, Bret suffered no setbacks and is fine. It’s always good for patients to be evaluated when they’re not feeling well.

Bret, the rocker, is recovering at home in Arizona after undergoing a surgical operation to patch up a hole in his heart on 24th of January. The hole was revealed, when he has suffered a mini-stroke last May.

After four days of surgery, his blood pressure plunged. After checking the test, it was proved that, the problem was not due to the surgery, but because of the dehydration and exhaustion, as a result of diabetes.

His representative said that, Bret is willing to return to his work and is rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers at Sunday’s big game.

Michaels said that, having the Steelers win (in the playoffs) the night before, my surgery was a sweet gift.
