Rihanna Suffers From Flu Virus, Cancel’s Concert in Sweden

Barbadian R&B recording artist Rihanna has cancelled her concert scheduled for tonight in Sweden, after getting hospitalized suffering from flu.

The 23-year old is currently admitted in a hospital in Sweden hooked up to an IV drip, Rihanna was scheduled to perform in Malmo, Sweden, but a representative for Live Nation claimed that the show has been canceled because the singer is not in condition to conduct the concert. However Rihanna also tweeted an apology, writing, Sorry Malmo! She also added a picture of her arm with tubes coming out of it.

She also added saying I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo [Sweden]. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time, so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there.

She is presently on her fourth concert tour around Europe, in conjunction with her fifth studio album, Loud. The tour kicked off in June in Baltimore, and is expected to wrap up in December in London. Rihanna is also scheduled to perform in Stockholm on Tuesday. However sources have informed that Live Nation is hoping to reschedule the performance with details to follow in the next few days.
