American professional basketball player Kobe Bryant may lose up to $40-million in the Divorce settlement. One of the legal experts told that Vanessa Bryant may walk away with a huge bag of his money in this high-profile split.

After 10 years of marriage and having two daughters Natalia Diamante Bryant and Gianna Maria-Onore Bryant, Kobe and Vanessa have decided to go their ways, there was no prenuptial agreement because, Bryant loved her too much for one. And that is going cost Kobe much of the fortune he amassed in the NBA and he will have to pay Vanessa, 29, plenty in court.

13-time All-Star met Vanessa in 1999, when he was just 21-years-old and she was working as a background dancer on the Tha Eastsidaz music video G’d Up. The due started dating and got engaged just six months later in May 2000 and they got married on April 18, 2001, at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in Dana Point, California. At the time of marriage also there was lot of chaos, because Kobe’s parents had problems with him marrying so young, especially to a woman who was not African-American.

On December 16, 2011, Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. Both sides resolved all the issues related to their divorce earlier to the filing.
