Angelina Jolie Donates $100k on 2012 World Refugee Day

Rumors of an Angelina Jolie pregnancy have been raging as of late. Angelina has donated US$100,000 to the United Nations in celebration of 2012 World Refugee Day on Wednesday, June 20.

HOLLYWOOD star Angelina Jolie maintains her efforts to help those in need, the UNHCR special envoy made a $100,000 donation to the U.N. Refugee Agency to support its work with Syrian refugees. According to the sources – UNHCR believes even One person forced to flee is too many and it’s true, Jolie says in her message. Every individual refugee matters and each has their own story. Each suffered and survived more than she could ever bear. And so far, they rise-up to live another day.

Sources added: In the past year 4.3 million people have become moved. There are still 2.7 million refugees from Afghanistan, and 12 million people are stateless. For the fifth consecutive year the number of under protest displaced people worldwide exceeded 42 million.

The fiancee of Brad Pitt continued – The international community should rededicate itself to preventing conflict, addressing it when it erupts, and solving it more quickly. For that is the only way to create tough solutions for the refugees, whose strength inspires us on this World Refugee Day.

On the other hand, Angelina Jolie is certainly in need of regular touch-ups for her latest film character and was spotted being coddled on the filming set of Disney’s “Maleficent” in Buckinghamshire, British countryside.
