Katy Perry, Steve Martin, Rachel Maddow joins at Hammer celebration

The veritable Hollywood artists, actors, fashion designers and business leaders have appeared into the Hammer Museum in Westwood on Saturday 6th October to celebrate artists Barbara Kruger and Cindy Sherman. The Hammer Celebration has raised a record $2 million for the museum’s exhibitions and programs.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and actor and musician Steve Martin have delivered the night’s tributes, where they have joined along with the Katy Perry, who has a busy week in store with her performances planned at Sunday’s fundraiser for President Obama. Katy Perry is also going to performe a show on Thursday’s amfAR Inspiration Gala.
The Hammer celebration included by Tom Ford and Richard Buckley, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Will Ferrell and Viveca Paulin Ferrell, Susan and Leonard Nimoy, Julie Bowen, Dana Delany, John C. Reilly, Marg Helgenberger, ‘The Simpsons’ creator Matt Groening, ‘Sex and the City’ maker Darren Star and artists Ed Ruscha, Mark Bradford Paul McCarthy, Catherine Opie and Doug Aitken.
Actor Armie Hammer said he is here mostly because of his birth on taking the stage between the very tasty dinner courses. Hammer is great-grandson of museum founder Armand Hammer, where he was among his film roles like he played both Winklevoss twins in ‘The Social Network’.
