Selena Gomez will play a rock ‘n’ roll chick in a new film “Parental Guidance Suggested”, which will see Nat Wolff play her onscreen love interest which is based on Ric Browde’s 2000 novel ‘While I’m Dead … Feed the Dog’.
Singer Selena Gomez will play a new independent film. Tim Garrick has penned the screenplay for the film and will direct, with ‘Secret Life of American Teenager’ star Austin Stowell in line to play Nina’s arrogant boyfriend.

Selena’s newest movie character appears her star alongside Vanessa Hudgens in ‘Spring Breakers’, and the brunette beauty lately unveiled she is giving her music career a rest in order to focus on acting. She just kind of halting music for a bit, and she have been really focused on more acting – Selena gushed.
For her it’s been fun to take risks and do effects that are totally different. To be honest, perhaps some of guys might not be easy with it … she’s still the same person. Things that challenge her really excite her. Selena also admitted that, she would be branching out in her music, saying her next album would be a little older.
In the film Parental Guidance Suggested – Cary Elwes and Dylan McDermott are set to star in the motion picture, which is due to be shot in Los Angeles City. Selena Gomez, who is dating pop heartthrob Justin Bieber, has starred in movies last year she was appeared in romantic comedy Monte Carlo.
