One Direction Songs Racked Up 12M Sales Worldwide

One Direction reaches an incredible 12 million sales records worldwide in one year. The Best ‘One Direction’ songs “What Makes You Beautiful” and “One Thing” – Is amazing and is in the top of the list.

Since the 2012 VMA-nominated boy banders released their debut album, ‘Up All Night’ abroad last November and, in March, and also the release of debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ in September 2011, the guys have amassed some impressive sales numbers in just under a year.

The record sales include eight million singles, three million albums and one million DVDs. The British boyband group was offered with a special disc by Syco and Sony Music in appreciation of their huge achievement.

One Direction, the first UK group to first appearance at the top of the US chart with first album “Up All Night,” which has also topped charts in sixteen countries in total. An inside a source – Liam Payne tells that, they are apparently delighted and incredibly humbled by their award. The group has an unbelievable squad of people around them – who have helped them achieve this, and above all they would like to thank their fans. 

At the 2012 MTV VMA – One Direction is due to perform. While, the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Thursday night, September 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
