Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” continues to lead the US pop charts. This week, the smash hit marked its ninth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 – its coming: Carly Rae Jepsen’s album ‘Kiss’ set for September 18, 2012 release date.
Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” claims the greatest run at number one in the US chart-topper of 2012, beating earlier leader Gotye, who spent eight weeks at the top with ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’. The Canadian singer tweeted: 9 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard. Insane. ..Feeling high as a kite -Thank you!
Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding jumps from five to two position with ‘Lights’, and Flo Rida entries the top three place with ‘Whistle’. Added down the chart, Justin Bieber dives 28 to 15 with ‘As Long As You Love Me’, Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Dark Side’ makes a new peak of 44, Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pound The Alarm’ leaps 90 to 50 place.
