The CMT Music Awards 2012: Carrie Underwood has received the most nods by five nominees, Miranda Lambert followed with four, while Pop sensation Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and Thompson Square are with three nominees at the CMT Music Awards Nominees 2012.

The 2012 CMT Music Awards will be celebrating its 11^th anniversary from Nashville on 6^th June. The short list for the top honor nominees at the CMT Music Awards will be announced at the beginning of the show on 6^th June, while fans can vote for noms throughout the live telecast.

The 2005 winner of ‘American Idol’ has receives her fifth nod in the category of CMT Performance of the Year, where her performance along with Steven Tyler at the CMT Crossroads pits her against Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Shelton, and another CMT Crossroads duo Sting and Vince Gill.
