Katy Perry spends $1 million for Refurbishing home

Pop sensation Katy Perry has reportedly spending $1 million refurbishing the home, which she was shared with her-ex husband Russell Brand.
The ‘Part Of Me’ singer Katy Perry wants to radically change the Los Angeles house, which she was bought with ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ star Russell in order to move on from her soon-to-be ex-spouse. Perry said she was tired over having memories of Russell everywhere in her Los Angeles house, where the couple has buy the house jointly last year, after getting married but she is planning to completely redecorate it again.
27-year-old Perry said It is under construction and it’s been for a few months, since the pair has divorced in 2011. She added it’s not easy for her to shift on with her life following their break-up, as her home is full of wedding recollections. Russell has presented a gift of the $7 million new mansion and the ‘Firework’ hit maker Perry is looking to make it her own.
According to sources Perry wants to change completely the color inside and add some crazy decor and furnishings to her home, where she staying alone with her brother and two pet cats. Perry and Russell have married for 14 months, which the couple have signed for divorce papers in February and their split will not be announced until 30th June.
