Andy Griffith Died At Age 86 – Tributes To The Star!

TV legend-star Andy Griffith died at his home in Dare County, North Carolina on Tuesday morning, July 3 about 7 A.M. at the age of 86.
The iconic actor starred in the classic television series ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ and ‘Matlock’ and also had the lead character in the 1957 movie’ A Face in the Crow.’ The late star was buried on Roanoke Island, North Carolina where he resided.

The Andy Griffith Show actor was honored with a star on the “Hollywood Walk of Fame” in 1960 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2005. He is survived by third wife Cindi Knight.
