After Britney Spears Criminal music video and song lyrics hit the web-world with the huge trend. And now, the Femme Fatale hitmaker is the latest name being rumored as a possible judge for the X Factor USA judging panel – News reports reveals.

Britney Spears wants to join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid at the judging panel for the second season of the FOX smash singing talent “The X Factor (US)” show. A rep. for the U.S. version of “The X Factor” has not unveils any comment on the topic, but Simon Cowell has addressed the speculation during a conference call.

Sources added that – Are we flattered that there could be interest? Yes, he coyly says about the possibility of the ‘Hold It Against Me’ singer taking one of the vacant posts. Noting on the judges rumors in general, Cowell admits that there’s a load of rumor, some true, some not true! While he cannot prove or deny any of these rumors at the moment.

Meanwhile, other names connected to the show include Janet Jackson, Kelly Rowland, LeAnn Rimes and Vanessa Hudgens. The British producer claimed that it’s true to say that there a lot of people having entered the frame this season. We were waiting to see, who was going to contact us before we contacted people… We will meet a no. of people over the next few weeks, mostly to explain to them that this is a big commitment when you do a show like this because of the mentoring feature.

The former “American Idol” judge discussed about the possibility of “X Factor” doing a Whitney Houston tribute on this show.
