‘The Voice’ BBC1’s launch date unveiled the primetime Saturday night talent show’s date for the first season on Saturday, March 24, 2012.

The winner of The Voice UK will perform a record contract with Universal. Radio 1′s Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby are hosting the series, which BBC One controller Danny Cohen reportedly spent over £20 million to secure for the broadcaster after a clash with ITV over the rights.
The show became the most-watched televise non-sporting aired in six years in the United States, when its second season premiere was aired directly after the 2012 Super Bowl.
