American Idol season 11 top 10 elimination results makes Erika Van Pelt kicks out of show. Now American Idol is with top 9 finalists during Thursday night’s results show.

26-year-old Van Pelt from South Kingstown is the fourth finalist sent home from American Idol’s season 11 after she received the less votes from viewers following Wednesday night’s performance show. On Wednesday night performing show top 10 finalists sang Billy Joel songs.

Van Pelt said that this is his dream and he feels lucky to have the opportunity to do music for the rest of his life. He went onto say that American Idol has made him a stronger person. American Idol has already changed her life said, Van Pelt.

The elimination of Van Pelt, became official after Idol judge Randy Jackson announced the show. Judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler can save once during the finals to save the elimination of a finalist who receives the fewest home viewer votes in performance. Van Pelt said following his elimination result, this is such a difficult moment. The judges get one save, Show host Ryan Seacrest asked judges will you use your one save of the season on Erika.
